Online Students
Earn your degree on your terms
These days, colleges know no classrooms. Thanks to technology, you can advance your education from the sofa in your living room, the cubicle at the city library, the booth at the neighborhood cafe. And each step along the way, UM Online will be there. From a bachelor’s in the arts to a micro-certificate in nonprofit administration, from a master’s in education to a certificate in beekeeping, we will meet you where you live. Literally.
It all starts here
Innovative academics in the classroom on one hand. Experiential learning, real-world know how and meaningful industry connections on the other. Dozens of online programs to choose from, you'll find what you're looking for here.
Tuition and Scholarships
For most students, cost of attendance is among the most important considerations when weighing your options for higher education. If that's true for you, you're in luck because UM offers affordable tuition rates for online students.

Open doors with an online degree
“With the online option I have been able to remain part of the community that I love and am active in, which is a huge source of purpose and connection for me while pursuing this graduate degree.”
“Moving to a flexible delivery will give many more students the opportunity to advance their careers and education, while maintaining the excellent curriculum and programing the MAcct has worked hard over many years to develop.”
“There are people from Alaska, Colorado, Virginia and Alabama … some of them are pretty rural. And there are so many different backgrounds. Some people already have MDs, and they are taking the class. It can be a little intimidating, but it’s really cool to learn from so many other people who have so much more experience, but also different experience."
