Start at the beginning: the Law School Admissions Council

The Law School Admissions Council or LSAC is your gateway to the law school admissions process. Start off by creating an account online.

Step one: Check out the requirements

To be considered for admission, you’ll need to earn your bachelor’s degree before you start law school. You’ll also want to have scores from either the LSAT or GRE before applying. Finally, make sure to register for LSAC’s Credential Assembly Service to submit a complete application.

Step two: Start your application

Once you're ready with your LSAT or GRE scores, make sure to register for LSAC’s Credential Assembly in order to submit a complete application.
